The Blackwater StoryThe Blackwater Story

Blackwater Construction was incorporated in 1952 as a bush saw milling and logging company in Prince George, British Columbia. It has changed ownership several times as a subsidiary of Rustad Bros. and Co. Ltd. and later Northwood Pulp and Paper. Terry O'Neill acquired Blackwater in 1998 and under his leadership Blackwater has significantly expanded and diversified into a multi-disciplined heavy construction company.

Blackwater has six operational divisions - Mining, Road Construction, Bridge Construction, Oil & Gas Services, Harvesting, and General Construction. All of our management personnel and employees have extensive experience in most of these divisions and are rigorously cross-trained. This enables the ability to quickly engage new projects and complete the job in the time frame allotted.

Blackwater is a Federally and B.C. Extra-Provincially chartered company.
